Sanathan Textiles reported a significant surge in operational profitability for the second quarter of FY27, with standalone EBITDA rising to ₹154 crore from ₹62.3 crore in the corresponding period last year. The textile manufacturer’s EBITDA margin expanded to 8.57% in Q2FY27, compared to 7.61% in Q2FY26, reflecting improved operating efficiency alongside robust top-line growth.
The company’s Board of Directors approved these unaudited financial results during a meeting held on November 4, 2026. On November 5, 2026, the company submitted the audio recording of the earnings call discussing these results to the National Stock Exchange and BSE Limited, pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Alongside the earnings release, the Board recommended the re-appointment of three key promoter directors for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval.
The quarter witnessed significant expansion in both revenue and profitability metrics on a standalone basis. While net profit grew moderately to ₹58.69 crore, the sharp rise in EBITDA indicates strong margin control despite higher input costs. Consolidated figures showed even more pronounced growth, with consolidated net profit more than doubling to ₹61.23 crore from ₹20.12 crore in Q2FY26.
On a consolidated basis, the performance was driven by subsidiary contributions. Consolidated revenue from operations jumped 120% YoY to ₹1,803.97 crore, while consolidated net profit reached ₹61.23 crore.
Paresh Dattani, Chairman and Managing Director, attributed the strong performance to the continued ramp-up of the Punjab facility, which is now contributing meaningfully to volumes and margins. He noted that domestic demand remained strong, and customers returned to normal buying patterns as raw material prices stabilised following global volatility in Q1.
“Consolidated revenue grew 35.16% QoQ to ₹1,804 crore, driven by a combination of the ramp up of the Punjab facility and our ability to place our entire production in the market,” Dattani stated. He added that disciplined raw material procurement and presence across Polyester, Cotton, and Technical Textiles segments served the company well.
