
Vardhman Textiles Limited, an India-based textile company, has approved agreements on April 23, 2026, to acquire a 31.2% stake in ReNew Green (MPR Four) Private Limited. The acquisition is linked to a captive wind solar hybrid power plant and will cost INR 24.29 Crore (~$2.67 million) through cash consideration. ReNew Green (MPR Four) will operate a 19 MW AC wind solar hybrid plant in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The plant will comprise 26.4 MW wind capacity and 15 MW solar capacity, with power supplied exclusively to Vardhman Textiles under Captive Rules. ReNew Green (MPR Four) will have total capital of about INR 77.86 Crore (~$8.56 million), split between Vardhman Textiles’ 31.2% stake and Renew Green Energy Solutions’ 68.80% stake. Vardhman will make its 31.2% equity contribution in three project-linked tranches. ReNew Green (MPR Four), the power producer for the captive hybrid plant, has not started commercial production.
