Mimaki Europe, a leading manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers and cutting plotters, announces the TxF330-800, its new direct-to-film (DTF) printer. Designed to support stable, high-quality garment decoration in demanding print environments, the system combines automated maintenance, expanded white ink capacity and advanced production capabilities to streamline workflow.
Longer Print Runs with Greater Stability
Delivering 1.5x the production speed of the previous TxF300-75 model, the TxF330-800 is equipped for long, uninterrupted production runs with an expanded 16-cartridge ink system. Up to eight white ink slots provide up to 4L of capacity, while Mimaki’s UISS (Uninterrupted Ink Supply System) allows print providers to replace cartridges without stopping production.
The printer also incorporates Mimaki Feed Tension Technology (MFT), which improves film transport without applying additional tension. This reduces the risk of misalignment during high-speed and long-duration printing and supports stable, precise image quality.
To extend productivity further, rotary wipers have been introduced for easier maintenance of the print heads, while minimising ink splatter during wiping. MCT2 (Mimaki Circulation Technology) helps to prevent ink blockages which can slow down production.
Enhanced Colour Fidelity for Garment Printing
The expanded colour gamut now includes Sky Blue and Pale Pink inks, enabling more vibrant output, smoother gradients and more accurate colour reproduction – particularly important for applications requiring high colour fidelity, such as workwear and corporate merchandise. These inks are also ECO PASSPORT-certified and packaged in an environmentally friendly, eco-cartridge. The TxF330-800 is also compatible with a broader range of films for increased flexibility.
