The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) launched its Logics of Logistics handbook, a comprehensive guide designed to support exporters in navigating the complexities of the logistics sector. The launch event, attended by over 100 industry stakeholders, brought together key leaders and contributors from Tiruppur’s apparel export community.
𝐍. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐓𝐄𝐀, stated that The Logics of Logistics guideline for exporters will serve as a remarkable guide for exporters in the logistics sector. He appreciated the efforts of Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, Mr. R.K. Sivasubramaniam, Chairman, Membership Sub Committee and the logistics panel for their contributions.
𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐲, 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐓𝐄𝐀, thanked Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, JDGFT, Coimbatore, for highlighting that the industry’s concerns regarding the tariffs imposed by the United States would be submitted to the Central Government. He thanked the logics of logistics panel members and their management and Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal Pvt Ltd, Thoothukudi, for sponsoring the initiative.
𝐊.𝐌. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐓𝐄𝐀, expressed confidence that the current U.S. tariffs are temporary and that Tiruppur exporters, like the phoenix, will overcome all challenges. He stated that the handbook would serve as a ready reckoner for everyone involved in the logistics process.
𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀. 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥, 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐓𝐄𝐀, appreciated the President’s leadership in taking a pioneering step toward creating the logistics handbook. He also thanked Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra for resolving several long-standing issues since assuming office in Coimbatore.
𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚, 𝐉𝐃𝐆𝐅𝐓, 𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞, announced that a seminar on the India–UK Free Trade Agreement would soon be organized jointly with TEA. He remarked that the book would serve as an effective guide for exporters involved in the logistics process.
