The textile printing market is a huge market in India. We are dealing with one percent of that and it is broken into so many segments: machine printing, non-machine printing, digital printing, and screen printing. So, we deal mainly with niche brands that are Nike, Puma, Zara, Gap, Marks&Spencer, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.
This exhibition is small, but it is constructive and effective, in my opinion. The customers came from Tirupur, Surat, Ahemdabad, Haridwar, Delhi, and Greater Noida. It was an ideal opportunity. I saw more stalls at the exhibition, but they didn’t have anything new; they had all the same products.
We are manufacturing water-based textile screen printing inks for the last 30 years, you name the category and we will have it. That is our sole motto. Our goal is to be one of the best performing and customer-focused printing ink companies in India. We have recently achieved the ZDHC level 3 certificate. That certificate shows high development sustainability any company can get. That is the biggest milestone that we have achieved in this year.
We have the entire category inks here; there are various categories like discharge based, pigment based, khadi based, and speciality inks like flop foil. There are more categories we will be launching this year. Basically, the demand is changing. People want a mixture of inks to be used on one print, like they want foil to be used together with khadi and discharge. Those category inks will be launched soon to fulfill our customers’ requirements.
The show was good, but they have to work on the marketing of the show to attract more visitors. Otherwise, show is ok for us. The main goal of the exhibition is to meet clients, receive new inquiries, answer client questions, and learn about what’s new in the industry.
The textile screen printing industry is growing. It is going to boom in the next 10 years. It is an ever-changing industry; demand keeps changing. It is the fastest growing industry, especially after the anti-China thing. Now people prefer India. Now people are planting, planning, and expanding things here.

The show’s response is good, but I was my expecting more visitors from the smaller cities, which has not happened. Most of the local people and dealers are the visiting. This is the organizers’ first show. It is good, but hopefully they will do much better next time. Organization wise, everything is good, but only the crowd is missing.
The new machine that we recently launched is called UV Crystal. Put the label directly on the adhesive and stick it to any substract. It can be done on metal, plastic, paper, wood, anything. Textile printing industry is growing.
We are a manufacturer of dye sublimation paper and we have different kinds of GSM. We are the biggest dye sublimation manufacturer in India. We are exporting our products in countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Morocco, Japan, South Africa, Poland, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Bolivia, and many more. Regarding the paper quality, we use Indian-based local paper. We have everything in-house manufacturing, so we don’t do any imports from other countries. Everything is made in India. We have offices in the North, South, and West just to cover the transportation costs and to give customers the best quality products in short time.
We have recently launched a 45 GSM paper, which we are showing at the Screentex exhibition. Apart from 45 gsm, we are also displaying 55 gsm paper, 65 gsm and 95 gsm. We have received good response to these products and there are many inquiries. The show was quite good for us.
The textile printing industry is booming right now. This industry is on the verge of growth. Demand is increasing, and supply is never going to stop. It’s good for us that demand is increasing and supply is also increasing; it’s good for the entire printing industry.
Epta India it’s a joint venture company with Epta Inks Italy, it’s a part of EPTANOVA Group spread around 99 countries. The branch has already been working since 2011 to the production of Texilac Discharge LB, a water-based ink for textile printing, and it’s gradually been expanding its manufacturing to other products – waterbased inks and applications for screen printing – for the Indian textile market. And also, we have a future expansion plan for EPTA India but we have put it on hold right now. There is a plan but implementation will take some time. We are in textile applications and also have a wide range of industrial applications. Our main focus in this show is more on industrial applications. The response is very good, but the crowd is less but it’s a quality crowd. Organizers should do some promotion before the exhibition; everything else is good. The textile printing industry is seeing its ups and downs because of various other factors. It has to stabilise, and we believe that this may be continued until this year end.
We manufacture all types of machines. All types mean total screen printing units, from screen making to finishing. Our range of products includes electrical curing machines, manual chest printing machines, screen stretching units, single-bed manual printing machines, and a whole range of equipment that facilitates the printing process. If anyone needs a screening unit, all machines are available in our company.
We are launching our automatic new one with an 8 colour 10 pallet machine. It is fully 100 percent Indianmade machines. Now we are competitive with imported machine. It is a very big challenge for importing machines in India. We have equally good quality made in India machines. Also, we are displaying HD transfer Stricker machines, flat bed machines, cloth embossing machines, and regular fusing machines.
The show is very good. It is a very useful platform for the industry. The crowd is not much, but useful customers are coming. Organizers should bring more companies related to this industry so that the crowd can be bigger.
The textile printing industry is slow right now. Inquiries are happening but there is no business, business is slow, but we are hopeful that something good will happen in future. Our customers are our future, and we want us to be able to provide them with everything they need.
We are Ludhiana, Punjab based company. We are dealing with DTF Garment printing machines as well as UV DTF and UV Flatbed machines. We have the machinery for garments and any flat surface materials. We deal in PAN India.
In Screentex we are displaying the DTF, which is direct to flim. Direct to flim.
First of all, we print on the film (heat transfer coated film). Then, with the help of heat transfer, we will transfer the designs or stickers on the T-shirt or any kind of garment. Also, we have a new technology called UV DTF; it is a kind of roll-to-roll machine through which you can print directly on flat surface with the help of stickers only.
At Screentex, the response is fine. This time the visitors are in small numbers. But visitors are serious and are asking about the details of the latest technologies. And when talking about the textile printing industry, you can say the demand is growing day by day. In this industry, everybody some new introduces technologies are introduced and there is huge demand right now.

Screentex is a good show; this is our first time here, and it has been a good response for us. Whatever the organisers are doing, they are doing it well from their side. I wish them all the best in the future and also the future of this industry is looking very good now after covid.

We are based in Mumbai and have been in the manufacturing of textile printing inks and other specialised products for the textile printing industry for a long time.
Screentex we have come to display all the products and new technologies for screen printing industry. The show is very good; it is a very well organised show. I must appreciate the organisers for that; the footfall is there; it’s all concerned with our industry; there is good enquires. This is a very good show for the industry. Hopefully, at the next event, we get to see more technology and more new people coming into the show.
We have come up with many new products in water-based technologies. We have those threading effects which are going in the youth garment. If you see the denim tone effect going, people do it only by blade or by lazer cutting. We have developed water-based inks, so if you print and heat, it will only damage cotton thread and wash away.

We are always in touch with the organisers and we are also associated with the Screen Printing Association of India. So, we are also the committee members, including the organizers.
The screen printing industry is a major segment in textiles. This industry accounts for 40-50 percent of the market for screen printing. This industry will grow at a rate of at least 10-15% per year. That’s why we are focusing on new products in the textile printing industry.

The organisers have made good arrangements, but they will have to pay a little more attention to bring more visitors, as visitors are less in numbers. Everything else is fine. The textile printing industry is a growing industry. In this industry, some up and down is there right now but its future is bright. We can only hope that all is well going forward.
