
An exclusive preview of India ITME 2026 was held at the Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA), Tiruppur, bringing together textile industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders.
Mr. Ketan Sanghvi, Chairman, India ITME Society, highlighted that India ITME 2026 will serve as a bridge between technology providers and textile manufacturers, particularly MSMEs, facilitating access to global innovations and fostering new partnerships.
Mr. N. Thirukkumaran, General Secretary, Tiruppur Export Association, highlighted Tiruppur’s strong contribution to India’s textile and apparel exports and emphasized the need for technological advancement to improve productivity, quality, sustainability, and competitiveness. He encouraged Tiruppur entrepreneurs to participate actively in India ITME 2026 and explore advanced machinery, automation, AI, IoT, and global technology partnerships.
Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, Tiruppur Export Association, highlighted India ITME’s 45-year contribution to strengthening the textile industry and promoting technology and innovation. He emphasized the importance of FTAs with Europe, the UK, and other countries in driving export growth and noted that AI, IoT, and advanced machinery can enhance productivity and create employment opportunities.
Dr. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director, India ITME Society, highlighted India ITME’s 45-year legacy and its contribution to the textile industry through technology, innovation, and global collaboration. She emphasized emerging global opportunities and showcased India ITME 2026 and Textile Horizon, featuring over 800 exhibitors and the latest technologies from fibre to fashion.
Mr. T. R. Srikanth, President, Tiruppur Export Knit Printers Association, highlighted the remarkable evolution of printing technology in Tiruppur over the past 25 years.

Mr. Nagesh K., President, Tiruppur Dyers and Chemicals Merchant Association, emphasized the importance of technology, automation, and sustainable manufacturing in addressing rising costs, labour shortages, energy expenses, and global competition.
Mr. Senthil Kumar, Honorary Treasurer, India ITME Society, encouraged Tiruppur entrepreneurs to visit India ITME 2026, explore machinery and technologies from exhibitors across 90 countries, and identify solutions to enhance their businesses. He concluded by thanking the chief guests, association representatives, media, and industry stakeholders for their participation and support.

Earlier, the delegation met Mr. K. M. Subramanian, President, Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA), at the TEA office and discussed India ITME 2026 and its opportunities for the Tiruppur textile industry
