A symposium on the “Challenges before Textile Industry of Rajasthan” was organised at Hotel Galoria Inn, in Bhilwara recently. The event featured panel discussions addressing major issues faced by industrialists. Bhilwara MP Damodar Agarwal was the Chief Guest, and the occasion was also graced by Pawan Arora, CEO and Managing Editor of First India News.
Addressing the gathering, Damodar Agarwal emphasised, “The main challenge is identifying and addressing the problems. Textile industry is the backbone of Bhilwara and its struggles impact everyone. Bhilwara needs to improve efficiency. With 40 years of factory operation across 5 generations, I’ve seen no better law & order or advanced machinery anywhere else.” During the event, Pawan Arora said, “Bhilwara, once known as the Manchester of Rajasthan, is experiencing a decline in prestige. The lack of govt. and systemic support is driving people to consider migration. We are committed to address these social concerns and fulfilling our responsibilities.” Bhilwara Collector Namit Mehta said, “All processes, including land allotment, land conversion, document verification, government subsidies, are being disposed in time bound manner. For any issues, one can directly approach me for prompt resolution.”
