Circular knitting machine builder Terrot will demonstrate two of its latest models at the upcoming Shanghaitex exhibition including a best-selling machine for sportswear fabrics and a single jersey sinkerless machine.
On show will be the globally top-selling machine UCC548E and the exclusive Sino SL-4 TC.
ShanghaiTex takes place from November 25-28 with Terrot located in hall W5, booth number F01.
The UCC548E is described as a double-electronic machine with electronic needle selection in the cylinder and dial that is ideal for the production of functional sport and leisure textiles.
With great flexibility and a high production output, the UCC548E features a wide variety of applications while producing single and double jersey combinations. Accurate needle selection in the cylinder and dial cam box guarantees great flexibility, says Terrot, as well as a large pattern range. The knitting of 3D-patterns is also possible. This model has a maximum machine speed up to 21 rpm while a speed factor of 720 guarantees high production output available in different gauge settings ranging from E14 up to E 28.
“The UCC548 E is a high-speed model that is able to produce different fabric weights and designs – ideal for smaller and constantly changing markets,” says Terrot. “Due to their outstanding efficiency and quality, Terrot electronic machines have become well- established on the international market and earned the customers trust worldwide.”
The second exhibition model is the sinkerless Sino SL-4 TC. This model is described as an easy and extremely efficient single jersey production for leisure and outerwear fabrics. The range of Terrot circular knitting machines by SINO are specially designed to meet the technical requirements of the Chinese market, and are therefore exclusively distributed there. They offer with shorter delivery times and offer great value for money in order to serve the demand for high quality machines in China.
“This highly productive single jersey machine is designed without sinkers for advanced fabric quality,” says Terrot. “It’s assembly is very easy and significantly reduces cleaning and maintenance operations on the knitting head. The SL-4 model is available with tubular frame or open width frame.”
Visitors to the Terrot booth will also be able discover the latest developments from Corizon technology, a special process which combines spinning and knitting to create a new and unique yarn structure.
