The two companies will integrate Reju Polyester into their commercial multifilament yarn production for textile use. The validation process for Reju Polyester will take place at Utexa’s facility in Choloma, Honduras, and Antex’s plant in Girona, Spain. By October 2025, Reju anticipates that its brand associates will employ these yarns in garment creation and evaluate the efficacy of closer supply chains.
These collaborations underscore Reju’s commitment to addressing the issue of post-consumer textile waste within the regions where it originates. The company’s strategy includes fostering a circular textile economy by facilitating the collection and sorting of textile waste, thus paving the way for regional Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks.

Reju produces 100% textile-to-textile recycled polyester that reduces carbon footprint by about 50% compared to virgin polyester. Polyester manufactured from Reju’s regeneration technology are claimed to be the highest grade for textile applications, while preventing the thermal degradation, contaminants, and co-monomers. Collaboration with Reju is also said to improve flexibility for brands due to its near-shore supply chain alternative.
