Commerce Minister of Bangladesh Tipu Munshi recently inaugurated Deshbandhu Textile Mills Ltd, a new readymade garments (RMG) factory, at the Uttara export processing zone (EPZ) under the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA). The factory would create employment for 10,000 through backward linkage industries apart from direct jobs, Munshi hoped.
