British brand French Connection has adopted Gerber Technology’s YuniquePLM product lifecycle management software as it looks to simplify its operations. YuniquePLM, which offers complete control of a company’s operations, from planning and design to sourcing materials and manufacturing the garment, allows users to monitor all aspects of the supply chain from one user-friendly interface in order to align its business or restructure accordingly.
“Our team needed a cloud-based solution to simplify IT processes and YuniquePLM will enable data integration with our current infrastructure,” said Stuart Hart, Head of IT at French Connection. French Connection’s products vary from premium pieces to the very basics like jeans and t-shirts. Wit such a diverse portfolio, it’s hoped Gerber’s technology will streamline operations at the brand.
“Upgrading French Connection to YuniquePLM will allow them to scale their business quickly and effortlessly,” said Michael Lock, Vice President of Gerber’s global software sales. “The solution will allow French Connection to reduce costs by simplifying integration across the company.”
Gerber’s software is forever evolving and has of late incorporated a new Yunique Sample Management feature as a subscription option. Gerber says that with this software, subscribers can: “efficiently create, manage and track samples; quickly make changes in PDS; reduce physical samples and easily manage data.”
