Why do we talk about fabrics at Filo, the International Yarn and Fiber Exhibition? Because with the Filo Capsule Collection, Filo takes a step forward and showcases a series of fabric prototypes made with the exhibitors’ yarns, dyed and refined with products made available by the dye houses that have long participated in the fair, creating that teamwork and unity of the textile supply chain that has always been hoped for and not always achieved. Filo is therefore the first fair to produce its own collection, to make the development potential of its exhibitors’ excellent yarns effective and immediately visible.
The Filo Capsule Collection is an exclusive and innovative project, renowned for its characteristics of absolute novelty and exaltation of Italian manufacturing.
FILO Capsule Collection: The Starting Point
The Filo Capsule Collection comprises fabric prototypes made with the exhibitors’ yarns. Which in turn find inspiration in “Collages”, the product development proposals envisioned by Gianni Bologna for the 63rd edition of Filo and proposed by Filo in December 2024.
To better understand the stylistic concept that the Filo Capsule Collection expresses, “Collages” is the starting point, retracing with the fabric prototypes the four chapters that make up – precisely – the collages: Military Charme; Bio Pop; Vanity; Possibly.
