The Indian Government will ensure that cotton procured by the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) is not kept unused, leading to problems for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), according to Minister of Textiles and women and child development Smriti Irani, who recently said the two-decade-old problem of obligation of Hank yarn production has also been resolved. She said this while inaugurating the TEXPROCIL award function recently, according to an official report.
