Colorband Dyestuff successfully hosted a Technical Seminar on “Polyester Blends for active wear, Sportswear and Knits” at Erode on the 20th August 2022. About 65 key personnel from Textile Processing Houses located at Erode, Perundurai and nearby places participated whole heartedly and enthusiastically in the seminar.
The event commenced with an introductory session on the companies profile and way forward presented by Deepak Pathak (Business Head – Textiles). The opening session was followed by a presentation on “Dye Selection for Synthetics” by Sameer Muni (Business Development Manager). The highlight of the event was the absorbing talk and in-depth presentation made by Prof. Ashok Athalye (Faculty of the Department of Fibres and Textile Processing Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai) on the topic “Optimistic Approach in Textile Coloration”. He gave insights on the chemistry, process overview of new generation synthetic polyester micro fibres and pertinent features of Spandex/ elastane (Lycra) technology.
