Veit Bangladesh celebrated the 10th year anniversary program on 28th November at Le Meridian in Dhaka. The celebration was seen as a culmination of various people from the industry. The show was presided by the host, Gunter Veit, President of Veit Group who took the audiences on a historical journey how the company VEIT Group International was found by his father Reinhardt Veit and how his son Christopher Veit has taken over on the journey to proceed further.
Peter Fahrenholtz, German Ambassador in Dhaka, attended and spoke in detail about how the German family companies thrive on innovation and technology solutions. Humayun Rashid, Director of Energypac Fashions and Ahasan Kabir Khan of Interfab limited shared their experience on how Bangladesh requires to go ahead on implementing automation for further growth.
Dr. Rubana Huq, President of BGMEA made her presence felt by asking VEIT Group President to provide innovative solutions to the garment industries at an affordable price. She spoke to the visitors on how Bangladesh Garment companies stay together in weathering the difficult situation and to provide with the best of the factories to compete with the other countries.
