Thiru. PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan, Hon’ble Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management, Government of Tamilnadu, presented Tamilnadu State Budget for the year 2022-23 in Tamilnadu Assembly. Raja M Shanmugham, President welcomed the people welfare, inclusive and growth oriented budget and lauded the Government’s efforts taken to set to decrease the Revenue deficit by over Rs 7,000 cr and improve the Tamilnadu State’s Economy.
Raja M Shanmugham welcomed the allocation of Rs 100 cr for creating infrastructure for export cluster including Tirupur, which is a major requirement to enhance the export growth potential and is confident that with these positive measures Tamil Nadu exports will reach the envisaged target of $100 bn by 2030.
After notifying the regular influx of Migrant Workers from Northern States to Tirupur, Raja M Shanmugham pointed out that the launching of Mobile Information and Help Centres for Migrant Workers including Tirupur will help to know the details of them address many issues and could also reduce untoward incidence.He further said the implementation of a special program for Skill development for youth to fulfill the requirement of Industries is a welcome measure to enhance productivity and quality including waste reduction and on time delivery. He appreciated the facilities improvement planned in ITIs will provide skilled labour to the Industry.
