Provides glimpse of latest machines under one roof
After presenting a grand show in Ludhiana; the GMMSA Expo INDIA 2019 concluded recently at Dana Mandi on Bahadurke Road. The expo proved to be a great help for knitwear garment manufacturers who were able to get a glimpse of the manufacturing machines, spares and tools all under one roof. On the whole, the exhibition was the hub of innovation over the last four days with approximately 60,000 people visiting the exhibition.
A closing ceremony was organised where the Garments Machinery Manufacturers & Suppliers Association (GMMSA) – EXPO facilitated the exhibitors for their participation and sought their support for next year 2020. Present during the ceremony were Ram Krishan – Chairman GMMSA, Narinder Kumar – President GMMSA, Gurpreet Singh, Amit Jain, Parmesh Wasist, Gurdev Singh, Jatinder Sudera, Sukhwinder Singh, Pankaj Kalra, Rajesh Sharma, Rajesh Krishan, Davinder Pal, Rajinder Bhamra and other delegates.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Krishan, Chairman, GMMSA Expo India 2019 thanked all the exhibitors and participants for showing confidence and reposing their faith in GMMSA and for the marvellous display of most modern machines & technology at the doorsteps of garment manufacturers in Ludhiana. He also thanked team GMMSA Expo India for their valuable suggestions and cooperation in achieving appreciation from exhibitors as well as visitors from the industry.
Narinder Kumar, President GMMSA Expo India 2019 also thanked the exhibitors as well as industry for their support. He further added that, “This year the exhibition has been an even bigger success setting another milestone and benchmark for the industry and for ourselves. The objective of this expo is to provide latest technology and know-how at the doorsteps of the industry in Ludhiana.”
Exhibitors expressed their satisfaction over the response at show, which witnessed live demonstration of a many new technologies. While speaking during the event, Ram Krishan, CEO of Paradise Knits and Chairman GMMSA Expo India 2019 said, “We have introduced computerised flatbed knitting machines this time under brand Xing-Fu. The knitting machine works at high speed of over 100 and is very cost efficient resulting in better productivity. The new technology being introduced is variable stitch in single row which is most sought after. We also provide a wide array of packaging and finishing machines have also received tremendous response from the visitors and industry at large.”
Harpreet Bhatia – CEO of Smart Events said that, “This year we have tied up with GMMSA team to reduce event’s carbon footprint by making the event paperless. We are doing registrations paperless and have deployed iPads with our proprietary software for the same. The management also has real time data of participants and visitors during the Expo. This intelligence sharing improves decision making thereby helping and planning the event in better way. We are glad to be associated with GMMSA being a premier show and strive to bring more efficiency in coming years.”
According to Pankaj Kalra of Retech International, “In India garment manufacturers are looking for heavy duty machines that will do the kind of work that they want done. We have on display 66 inch machines and multi-gauge machines. These machines are among the top machines that are available in the country and they are high-speed.”
Sukhwinder Singh of Guruson International said, “Our R&D team is always looking forward to save resources in whatever way they can. Our machines save about 700 ltr of water on one cycle. That means over a year you may save crore of liters of water, thus preserving the environment. Further we are looking to make machines that not only save water, but also save electricity as well.”
