The major project are, we supplied a machine (24 pallets) to Rajavinayagam Printing which is considered to be a globally first ever manufacturer (FAHI-Q) to produce a machine with 24 pallets in octopus type screen printing. It is hard to mention our top clients as we value each one of our clients as top priority. Some of our clients are SKL Exports, Tiruppur, Shreenidhi Apparels, Tiruppur, Skyline Exports, Business Park who are having 7 FAHI-Q machines, KR creations and more. We also supplied 20+ machines to Kolkata, 4 machines to Bengaluru, 2 machines to Saharanpur and a machine to Mumbai as well.
What is FAHI-Q’s success mantra?
That is very simple. Not to think about making more profit in a machine, making a deal, supplying a good quality machine at an affordable cost and offer them a prompt support to service that will create a nice bond between us, so whoever thinks of buying another machine, they obviously choose us by word of mouth that reaches well.
What about your service team and network in India?
Yes, after sale service support should be done in a proper way otherwise People will kick off you like anything. The first box we ticked when we started supplying the machines is to give proper service support for the machines that too on 24/7 basis. Unlike other manufacturers we won’t tell the customer to send a mail, we will rather attend the issue the next morning. Even if a customer calls for a service for 3 am in the mid-night our service team will reach their premises and look after the issue. About our team, we consider them as a backbone of FAHI-Q and as of now we have 10 service engineers in Tirupur, 3 in Kolkata and 3 in Ludhiana. At the time of supply we send an engineer and a technician along with the machine to install and train the buyers team.
What are new products and segments you are planning to add in future?
As I said earlier, we are in the final stage of R&D process of oval type automatic Screen printing machine and digital printing machine which is expected to complete within 2 or 3 months, from there we have a plan to produce auxiliary machines related to the garment industry.
Most of the printing machine manufacturers are from Europe, America and China? Where does FAHI-Q stand in front of them in terms of quality and pricing?

Digital printing synchronized with oval type automatic printing machine are the latest trend. We are already in process of making oval printing machine. Synchronizing digital printing with octopus type automatic machine will create major impact in the industry, which helps the customer to print economically. We are also planning to supply digital machines to all the customers (Irrespective of brands) who are having octopus type printing machine.
Where do you think the garment factories (printers) are lacking in India?
Many garment factories lag in adopting the latest technologies that enhance efficiency and quality. Investing in advanced printing machines, such as our octopus and oval type automatic screen printing machines can significantly improve production speed and accuracy. Additionally, integrating automation and digital workflows can reduce human error and operational costs. Factories should also focus on training their workforce to handle new technologies effectively.
What are your suggestions to exporters/printers before buying a printing machine?
Before purchasing a printing machine, exporters and printers should thoroughly assess their production needs and capacity. They should consider the type of garments they produce and choose a machine that matches their specific requirements. It’s essential to evaluate the machine’s efficiency, durability, and maintenance requirements. Moreover, selecting a manufacturer known for excellent after-sales support is crucial to ensure long term reliability and assistance.
What do you think knitwear exporters should do to be more competitive globally? What are your expectations from the govt. for further growth of this industry?
Knitwear exporters should focus on innovation and quality to stay competitive globally. Investing in advanced machinery and adopting sustainable practices can set them apart from competitors. Diversifying their product range and exploring new markets can also provide a competitive edge.
We expect the government to support the industry by providing incentives for technological upgrades, promoting sustainable practices, and facilitating access to international markets through trade agreements and export assistance programs.
How was the last year for you and how do you look forward to the year 2024-25?
The last year was challenging yet productive for FAHI-Q and the textile printing industry. Despite global supply chain disruptions, we managed to maintain steady growth by focusing on innovation and customer support. We anticipate 2024-25 to be a year of significant growth as we launch our new digital integrated octopus and oval type automatic screen printing machines. The industry’s increasing demand for high-quality, sustainable and cost effective printing solutions aligns well with our product offerings and strategic goals.
