The ZDHC Foundation oversees implementation of the Roadmap to Zero Programme and is a global industry collaboration of currently 138 contributors (29 brands, 91 value chain affiliates, and 18 associates) within the sports, fashion, luxury and outdoor industry. The vision is widespread implementation of sustainable chemistry, driving innovations and best practices in the textile, apparel, leather and footwear industries to protect consumers, workers and the environment.
Recently, Elevate Textiles has expanded its participation in the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme across all portfolio brands including American & Efird, Burlington, Cone Denim, Gütermann and Safety Components. ZDHC and its contributors will work to implement and support sustainable chemical management best practices across textile, apparel and footwear industries.

Elevate’s Jimmy Summers will serve as a co-lead in the ZDHC Output Focus Area group. Through work and collaboration with other brands and government organisations, the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines will go beyond regulatory compliance to help ensure that the discharge of treated wastewater does not negatively impact the environment and surrounding communities.
