Looking at the growing need of technology up gradation, the 8th edition of GMMSA Expo-India 2024 was held at Dana Mandi, Bahadur Ke Road, Ludhiana from 19th to 22nd January, 2024. This edition also brought most of the leading knitting technology suppliers in the world of knitting industry at one platform.
Like every year 2024’s edition was organised to facilitate the machinery manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their latest products. The expo features over 2000 products, including knitting, weaving, dyeing, finishing, printing, sewing machines, accessories, and allied machines from leading brands. The event has garnered participation from more than 200 exhibitors, both local and from other states such as Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal and other countries. This year’s edition is bigger and better than the previous ones, with the expo’s scale expanded to cover over 3 lakh sq. ft. across 5 halls.”
The 8th edition of GMMSA Expo India started with a big bang on, 19 January 2024. The first day of the exhibition showcased leading inventions in the world of garment manufacturing machinery. GMMSA Expo was inaugurated with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Madan Lal Bagga MLA North Ludhiana and appreciated the team GMMSA for putting the whole technology for garmenting under one roof.
The expo was organised by the industry itself for the betterment of the Ludhiana industry as a whole. One witnessed a special eagerness among leading brands of machinery to exhibit their products in GMMSA Expo. This support has made the expo the largest ever-industrial exhibition of knitting machinery in Punjab. The machinery manufacturers are keen to be at the forefront in showcasing their latest technology to increase productivity and achieve cost efficiency in each process of garment manufacturing making the industry more competitive.
On the third day, Sanjeev Arora, Member of Parliament, visited the exhibition and commended the efforts of Team GMMSA in making the event a grand success. Over the four days, a significant number of visitors, including local garment manufacturers and individuals from all over India, attended to witness the latest technologies in various garmenting processes. The show garnered a good response, with more than 15 thousand visitors from the local and nearby regions.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Krishan, Chairman of GMMSA, expressed gratitude to all the exhibitors and participants for their confidence in GMMSA. He appreciated the marvelous display of the most modern machines and technology in garmenting. Additionally, he also thanked to the Office Bearers of Team GMMSA for their valuable suggestion and cooperation in achieving appreciation from participants as well as visitors from the Industry.
GMMSA Expo is a highly organised platform with high standards of display for much awaited and new up-gradations of machinery. It strives to provide solution to every problem in knitwear manufacturing right from handling of raw material to complete finished garment. The expo has received good response and is getting good inquiries.
